DELAWARE Consulting said it has opened a new office in Manila, which would act as its regional technical and sales support hub for South-East Asia.
It also announced the appointment of Arnel ‘Bon’ de Vera as its Philippines country manager, saying he has over 20 years’ experience serving both local and international markets.
The Manila office currently has 30 employees. Delaware Consulting Philippines plans to hire 30 more in the next six months, and is expected to quadruple headcount in the next three to five years, the company said in a statement.
The office will support Delaware’s sales and project efforts, and comes with trained resources for the implementation of SAP, OpenText, Sitecore and Microsoft projects, it added.
“The Philippines is an attractive choice for an office location and we are genuinely proud to move to our new prime base of operations less than one year after starting up,” said Delaware Asia Pacific partner and managing director Christophe Derdeyn.
“Besides close proximity to other key South-East Asian markets, the Philippines offers a stable infrastructure, as well as a dynamic, versatile and well-trained workforce that possesses a global mindset,” he added.
