TERADATA, a data and analytics company, today announced that it has appointed Erwin Sukiato as its new president director for Indonesia.
Erwin Sukiato will be responsible for strategically augmenting Teradata Indonesia’s business growth as well as overseeing and managing its sales, professional services and customer management strategies. Erwin will be reporting to Andrew Blamey, area vice president, Asia Pacific and Korea (APAK).
Erwin Sukiato has been in the information technology industry for over 20 years with a track record in strategic and tactical leadership in a number of companies within the industry. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for developing business strategies, incubating new business models, and building channel programmes.
Erwin says, “Indonesia is an important market for Teradata. We have several significant telecommunication and banking customers and we are well-positioned to expand into the government and utility sectors.
“With the growing appreciation in the market on how business analytics can hone a company's competitive edge, my charter is to drive growth in Teradata Indonesia by penetrating new sectors while continuing to help our existing and new customers uncover game-changing insights from vast volumes of data, especially in the space of artificial intelligence.”
Teradata has more than 10,000 employees and over 1,400 customers globally. Among its customers in Indonesia are Bank Mandiri, Telkomsel and BNI.
