Tencent Cloud, BCG announce strategic alliance 

• Aims to help companies on their digital transformation journey
• Jointly explore development of localized digital solutions

Tencent Cloud has announced a strategic alliance with Boston Consulting Group (BCG), to help enterprises on their digital transformation journey. 

In a statement, Tencent Cloud said the partnership is expected to extend to Asia Pacific and globally where both parties will jointly explore the development of localised digital solutions.

Under the alliance, Tencent Cloud and BCG will cooperate in areas, including finance and retail, to facilitate digital transformation among enterprises, and to provide enterprise architecture design and access to the cloud, it said.

Both parties will also offer staff enablement solutions, by providing online training tools such as Tencent Cloud’s AI, Tencent Agile Product Development (TAPD) and WeCom, to enhance collaboration and efficiency among employees, it added.

Tencent Cloud claimed its infrastructure is present in 27 geographic regions in five continents, and since April 2021, it has launched data centers in Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, and Japan.

BCG is proud to include Tencent Cloud into its growing ecosystem of alliances. Aside from its digital centers in San Francisco and Paris, BCG has launched a digital center in Shenzhen, providing governments and enterprises globally, with consulting services on digital solutions, Tencent said.

The Tencent-BCG partnership will enable both parties to combine innovations and resources to provide localized digital solutions that can potentially help to  boost economic recovery, it added.
