Software AG’s Stanimira Koleva now makes a move to Citrix

  • Joined Software AG last July after 2yrs at Microsoft

Software AG’s Stanimira Koleva now makes a move to CitrixSTANIMIRA Koleva (pic), who joined Software AG in July 2015 after about two years at Microsoft Corp, has now joined Citrix Inc as group vice president of sales and services for its Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region.
 
She will report to Carlos Sartorius, executive vice president Worldwide Sales & Services, Citrix said in a statement.
 
In her new role, she will be responsible for leading and evolving the Citrix sales and services strategy to continue to drive the company’s vision of securely and reliably delivering applications and data, the company said.
 
“Koleva brings proven expertise and a solid track record to this role,” said Sartorius.
 
“Her deep knowledge of the region and familiarity with key partners such as Cisco and Microsoft and their ecosystems, combined with her strong leadership skills and results-oriented perspective, will help drive our APJ business forward,” he added.
 
Koleva brings 25 years of industry experience managing sales and business development for large multinational companies across the globe and within the Asia Pacific region.
 
At Software AG, she was the senior vice president and chief operations officer for APJ. Prior to that, she was general manager of Microsoft's Small and Midmarket Solutions & Partners division in Asia Pacific, driving business growth across multiple solutions and business transition to fast adoption of the cloud and vast partner ecosystem transformation.
 
She has also served as vice president of the Partner Business Group for Cisco Systems for Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China, where she oversaw the company’s partner strategy and led the commercial customer segment.
 
“I am looking forward to the challenge of leading the APJ region through the next stage of growth, as the company focuses its vision on helping businesses embrace the digital transformation that is impacting every industry,” said Koleva.
 
“We have big plans for the future to ensure success for our customers and partners across the region,” she added.
