Salesforce strengthens Asean leadership team

- Appoints country managers for Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand
- Appoints vice president for alliances, partners and channels for Asean
Salesforce has announced three key additions to its Southeast Asian leadership team effective immediately.
In a statement, the company said the new appointments include Bernard Solomon, regional vice president for Malaysia & Vietnam; Kittipong (Kit) Asawapichayon, managing director for Thailand; and Latika Minocha, vice president, alliances, partners and channels for Asean.
Solomon (pic) is responsible for driving growth for Salesforce in Malaysia and Vietnam, key markets for Salesforce’s business in Asean.
Based in Singapore, he will focus on expanding local operations in the markets under his care and ensuring the success of local customers, partners and employees, Salesforce said.
He joins Salesforce with over 30 years of IT experience in various capacities such as sales, programming, project management across various industry verticals such as finance, manufacturing, telecommunications and healthcare.
He was most recently the Asean country manager at WalkMe in charge of leading regional operations. Prior to that, Solomon held various leadership positions at SAP, Oracle and NGA.
Asawapichayon (pic) is responsible for driving growth for Salesforce in Thailand, another priority market for Salesforce’s business in Asean. Based in Bangkok, he is charged with overseeing Salesforce Thailand’s local operations, and ensuring the success of Thai customers, partners and employees, the company said.
He is a veteran in the IT industry with over 30 years of work experience at IBM in Thailand, Asean, and Asia Pacific roles.
He was most recently responsible for IBM Asia Pacific’s security software ecosystem and channels business and was a board member of IBM Thailand.
Other regional leadership roles held at IBM include the geographic expansion business, the IBM-Apple partnership, B2B sales in ASEAN, and banking in Asia Pacific.
Minocha (pic) is responsible for accelerating and scaling the growth of Salesforce with and through partners across Asean. This includes consulting partners, resellers and implementation partners.
She is based in Singapore and is a member of the Asean executive leadership team, Salesforce said.
Latika brings nearly 30 years of leadership experience and diverse expertise in alliances and channels, partner sales, consulting, sales excellence and business operations, it said.
She joins Salesforce from SAP and Qualtrics, where she held key leadership roles. Minocha has also worked with other global companies like Accenture, Oracle and Microsoft.

Salesforce has been operating in Asean since 2004 and has been supporting companies in the region of all sizes with best practices to take advantage of the digital age.
