Salesforce has announced the appointment of Iman Muhammad as its first Indonesia country leader and the opening of a new office in Jakarta, Indonesia. The move underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening its leadership and operations in the market following the launch of its Indonesian entity in August 2023.

The new office, located at One Pacific Place in the heart of the Sudirman Central Business District in Jakarta, will help the Salesforce team better support Indonesian organizations in their digital transformation journeys, unlocking more growth opportunities with CRM, AI, Data, and trust.

Iman Muhammad has over 30 years of experience in the Indonesian technology industry and will lead business development, sales, and customer success teams to drive success for Salesforce’s customers and growth for the Indonesian business.

“Salesforce’s momentum in Asean continues to gain speed as we get closer to our customers with a new office in Jakarta and the appointment of Iman Muhammad as country lead,” said Sujith Abraham, senior vice president and general manager, Salesforce Asean. “We’re seeing a tremendous response from leading Indonesian companies as they turn to Salesforce as a trusted digital advisor to help them connect to their customers in whole new ways.”

“Indonesia is rapidly emerging as an economic powerhouse in the Asean region, and there’s significant opportunity for businesses here to harness the power of CRM + AI + Data + Trust for growth,” said Iman Muhammad, regional vice president and country director, Salesforce Indonesia. “I look forward to working closely with our team and partners to drive innovation and deliver exceptional value for our customers in Indonesia.”

Salesforce’s customer footprint continues to grow, with Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Eraspace, Lion Parcel, and United Tractors choosing Salesforce as a trusted advisor on their digital transformation journeys. To meet customer demand, the company has rapidly expanded to over 30 employees within a year, with plans to continue hiring.

The company supports the Indonesian local community through its employee Volunteer Time Off program. This year, employees from across the ASEAN region have contributed over 7,300 volunteering hours and have given over US$110,000 (RM515,000) in donations to local nonprofits.
