- Previously held roles at Conviva, Oracle and Dell
- Brings experience from multiple executive leadership roles to the position
Nutanix announces that Jay Tuseth (pic) has joined the company as vice president and general manager of Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ), reporting directly to Andrew Brinded, Nutanix’s chief revenue officer.
Tuseth is a seasoned enterprise executive who has lived in Singapore since 2013. Prior to joining Nutanix, he served as Conviva’s vice president of sales for APAC SaaS applications and general manager of customer experience, based in the company’s Singapore office.
At Conviva, Tuseth led all operations in the APJ region, helping digital businesses and their operations teams shift from a focus on quality of service to one centred on quality of experience. He drove continuous growth, challenging teams to push boundaries, take ownership, and ensure that great contributions were recognised.
Before Conviva, Tuseth served as vice president of cloud applications at Oracle. He also spent 12 years at Dell Technologies and EMC in multiple executive leadership roles, leading diverse teams across APJ and helping customers use data to maximise their competitive advantage.
“I am thrilled to be joining Nutanix as vice president and general manager of Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) at such a pivotal time. Today, APJ organisations are eager to harness AI and emerging technologies but grapple with ongoing implementation challenges. Nutanix is focused on bridging infrastructure gaps with seamless Kubernetes management on our hybrid multicloud platform, and I’m excited to work with our talented team to support more organisations across the region,” Tuseth said.
“Together, we will continue to help APJ organisations run applications and data anywhere, whether on-premises, in the cloud, or at the edge — future-proofing businesses and empowering them to deliver exceptional digital experiences,” he added.
