- Kiichi Tamida will replace Keita Ito at NEC Vietnam, while Ito will be moving to NEC Networks and System Integration Corp

NEC Vietnam announced that Kiichi Tamida has been appointed as the new general director. The appointment, which will be effective immediately, will see Tamida responsible for strengthening the business operations and expansion of NEC in Vietnam.
Tamida replaces Keita Ito, who has been leading NEC Vietnam since 2013. Ito will be moving to NEC Networks and System Integration Corporation in Japan.
Tamida (pic left) began his career with NEC in 1988. Besides having over 25 years of experience in sales for overseas markets including Asia, and holding several sales management positions during his professional career at NEC Corporation, Tamida also served at NEC Europe Ltd., the regional headquarters for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, leading NEC’s Value Added Solutions business in the region.
Prior to his appointment as the General Director, NEC Vietnam, he was NEC Corp's senior manager for its global business unit responsible for the Greater China and Asia Pacific markets. During his time at the position, he was mainly responsible for driving growth of NEC in Vietnam through new business development and other strategic initiatives.
