Indonesia’s CDT to focus on enterprise mobility solutions

MOBILITY technology can accelerate business processes, open doors to new opportunities and services as well as reducing operational costs. Strategic Analytics Research forecasts that the global mobile workforce will increase to 42.5% of total workers or around 1.87 people 2022.

However, the market value of Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) is predicted to grow to US$4.5 billion in 2020 from US$1.7 billion in 2016 with an average annual growth rate of 27%.

In response to the high demand for mobility technology, PT Central Data Technology (CDT), an IT infrastructure solution provider and subsidiary of CTI Group, will focus on mobility solutions this year.

CDT will collaborate with a number of IT vendors and application developers to present a range of enterprise mobility devices, solutions, and applications which can be customised. Enterprise customers will also receive 24/7 post-sales service, training and a managed services programme in mobility.

"Organisations are increasingly required to facilitate a mobile workspace. A McKinsey study recorded that 77% of the world CIOs will facilitate employees in using mobile devices to access corporate data and applications.

In the next two years, we anticipate seeing more than 25 mobile applications. Through our focus on mobility this year, we want to help the industry choose devices and mobile solutions which are safe and easy to manage, but also convenient for employees who have different work styles," said CDT director Tan Wijaya (pic).

As part of efforts to realise this strategy, CDT will offer customers mobile business solutions from Apple, whose range of products, secure iOS platform and hundreds of thousands of apps on the App Store can help businesses get more done, stay connected, and share ideas.

CDT is also working with its business partners, namely the Independent Software Vendors (ISV) and application developers to create specialised mobility solutions for industries that can be customised according to their needs.

In addition, CDT will cooperate with a number of Mobile Device Management (MDM) and industry-specific solutions providers.

This cooperation will be supported by CDT’s post-sales service 24-hour, certified engineer experienced in the field of mobility technologies, Technology Centre and training facility for customers.
