IDC appoints Sudev Bangah as IDC Asean managing director

INTERNATIONAL Data Corporation (IDC) announced the appointment of Sudev Bangah (pic), as the new managing director of IDC Asean.
Effective immediately, Sudev will be responsible for the leadership and development of the IDC operations across the Asean region which include Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
With 15 years industry experience, Sudev started his career in IDC nine years ago, and had previously served as the country manager of IDC Indonesia and IDC Philippines.
Earlier this year, he took on the Malaysian operations.
Besides providing advice and thought leadership to CEOs, country heads, CIOs and chief strategy officers (CSOs), he also directed the overall operations of the country offices' development, sales, consulting, and marketing by developing robust plans and strategies.
“Sudev is clearly a versatile leader and he is very much respected by the team for his deep knowledge of the region and industry. We believe that IDC Asean will progress further with Sudev’s great combination of strategic vision and strong credentials in this industry, which will be vital for the next phase of our growth across the Asean region,” said IDC Asia Pacific managing director Eva Au.
