- Both companies to provide the needed infrastructure

TELEKOM Malaysia Bhd (TM) and I&P Group Sdn Bhd have entered a strategic partnership which will see the latter’s future development projects in the Klang Valley and Johor getting TM’s high-speed broadband (HSBB) network infrastructure and services.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Houses in I&P Group’s latest development phases will be able to enjoy TM’s UniFi Advance 30Mbps service with the HyppTV Aneka Pack for free for up to 12 months, the telco said in a statement.
Both parties will make available the respective infrastructure and cabling to complete the whole end-to-end architecture, it added.
“We recognise the increasing demand for state-of-the-art high-speed Internet services at new development projects as it represents a unique selling proposition for players in the real estate sector,” said TM’s Enterprise Sales executive vice president Ahmad Kamal Halim.
UniFi comes as a triple-play service comprising voice, Internet speeds of up to 100Mbps via fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) technology and HyppTV, TM’s Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) service.
