CelcomDigi unveils one-stop digitalisation touchpoint for healthcare sector

CelcomDigi Bhd has introduced a Digital Healthcare Bundle, providing digital healthcare solutions alongside high-speed Internet connectivity plans. This initiative aims to support the healthcare sector, particularly micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) such as private clinics and pharmacies, in their digitalisation efforts through the Geran Digital PMKS Madani programne.

The launch event, officiated by Minister of Communications Fahmi Fadzil, marks a significant collaboration between CelcomDigi, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), and the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) to drive digitalisation in Malaysia's healthcare sector.

In his speech, minister Fahmi emphasised, "The introduction of CelcomDigi Healthcare Solutions, supported by MCMC and MMA, is a major milestone in our collective effort to advance Malaysia's digital healthcare ecosystem. This underscores our commitment to promoting digital adoption among MSMEs in healthcare, ensuring quality care is accessible to all Malaysians."

He further highlighted that this initiative exemplifies the government's dedication to fostering public-private partnerships, streamlining digitalisation for MSMEs, and equipping them with the necessary solutions to transform their businesses and expedite growth.

Best-in-value digital healthcare solutions to boost efficiency and business growth

The CelcomDigi Digital Healthcare Bundle is tailored to meet the diverse needs of primary care providers, allowing private clinics or pharmacies to select the Internet connectivity plan (mobile or fiber) that suits them and pair it with their preferred digital healthcare solutions.

Depending on the Internet plan and digital solutions selected, the CelcomDigi Healthcare bundle is available from as low as US$38 (RM180) per month. Eligible private clinics and pharmacies will also receive a matching grant of 50% or up to US$1,060 (RM5,000) for the first twelve months, with CelcomDigi managing the grant application process, from completing all the relevant registrations to onboarding the private clinics and pharmacies on the selected healthcare solutions.

A variety of innovative healthcare solutions are available for private clinics and pharmacies to choose from, categorized under Digital Clinic Operations and Virtual Medical Services. These solutions range from expanding service offerings to extending accessibility around the clock and enhancing patients' clinic visit experiences.

These digital healthcare solutions are provided by CelcomDigi solutions partners such as Angsana Health, eMedAsia, Health Digital Technologies Sdn Bhd (which operates in the market as DoctorOnCall), HEALTH4U Solutions Sdn Bhd, Qmed Asia, RMA Myclnq Sdn Bhd, UMCH Technology Sdn Bhd, and VH Global Sdn Bhd.
