AdParlor announces top-level hires across APAC

SOCIAL and video advertising platform AdParlor, an Adknowledge Asia division, has announced a series of top-level hires across Asia Pacific.
Yui Duangporn Pronon (pic above) has been appointed country director for Thailand; Sally Ng is country director for both Hong Kong and Taiwan, while Reuben Vijay has joined as country director for Malaysia.
The three directors will be responsible for growing business in their respective regions, promoting AdParlor products and services and ensuring clients are enhancing their social media and digital video campaign performances, the company said in a statement.
“I’m incredibly excited to have three established industry leaders joining AdParlor as we expand our footprint in Asia,” Adknowledge chief executive officer Ben Legg.
“We have focused on developing the AdParlor product, using audience data, analytics and insight to optimise performance across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.
“By hiring talent with extensive experience and knowledge of the digital advertising market in their respective regions, we position ourselves to continue the momentum and deliver unparalleled ROI (return on investment) for our client’s campaigns,” he declared.
Adknowledge Asia is a joint venture between US-based advertising technology company Adknowledge Inc and Axiata Digital Advertising, a subsidiary of telecom giant Axiata Group Bhd.
With 18 years of experience, Yui is perfectly poised to lead AdParlor’s expansion in Thailand’s rapidly growing digital advertising market, the company said.
She previously worked at dtac, a subsidiary of Telenor, where she led the mobile advertising team’s operations across Thailand.
“Joining AdParlor as country director for Thailand presents a fantastic opportunity to build on the already impressive AdParlor platform to drive innovation and growth,” she said.
“It’s crucial that we ensure our campaigns are engaging the right audiences in relevant ways,” she added.
Ng (pic above) has over 15 years of experience in marketing, advertising media and sales, spanning from digital media technology to marketing analytics and insights. Her appointment as country director for Hong Kong and Taiwan follows a previous role as country manager for Sizmek in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
“Marketers, now more than ever, demand greater returns for their advertising spend,” she said.
“I’m a strong advocate of data and advertising technology and I’m looking forward to the challenge of using data and an intimate knowledge of digital advertising to execute high performance cross-platform campaigns,” she added.
Finally, Reuben (pic) has joined AdParlor from Yahoo where he led the establishment of its Malaysia office, and was appointed to lead its operations to expand into the emerging South-East Asia market.
“Malaysia, as a digitally advanced market, has been quick to embrace and harness the advertising strengths of YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and most recently, Instagram,” he said.
“I’m very excited to join AdParlor at such a dynamic time for both the company, and the digital advertising industry in Malaysia,” he added.
