ScaleUp Malaysia and Maxis have announced their partnership to drive innovation and growth in the startup ecosystem. As a programme partner for ScaleUp Malaysia Cohort IV, Maxis will provide go-to-market and technical guidance, C-level coaching and mentorship.

ScaleUp Malaysia has selected the seven innovative companies for its Cohort IV, based on their potential to drive regional scalability. These companies will undergo a 12-week accelerator program aimed at refining their business models, developing regional scalability, and raising funds. The focus of the program is to equip the companies with the necessary skills and knowledge to scale their businesses to the next level.  Six of the companies - BeeBag, Docspe, Huddle, Petotum, Stayhere, and Kabel - will receive a US$100,000 (RM453,000) investment each, while the seventh company, Sonicboom, received a strategic investment with Scaleup Malaysia declining to be more specific about the investor.

"We are excited to welcome Maxis as our partner for Cohort IV.  We look forward to collaborating with them in providing access to their technical expertise and go-to-market knowledge which is vital as these companies build the path to go beyond the Malaysia shores. We believe that this partnership will help accelerate the growth of these companies whilst driving innovation within Malaysia as well," said Xelia Tong, Managing Partner at ScaleUp Malaysia.
