It used to be personal for Joachim Sebastian, chief executive officer of Everpeaks Sdn Bhd, who was a brand ambassador for US digital payments company Payoneer in Malaysia for six years in his personal capacity.

But now Payoneer has signed Everpeaks, whose core business is to provide performance based outsourced export eCommerce services, as its Community Partner for Malaysia.

“This is a key stepping stone for Everpeaks and we are happy to kick it off in 1Q2020. We are looking forward towards building a revenue stream of RM1.6 million by 4Q2021 with this strategic partnership,” says Joachim who hopes to secure 50 new Payoneer users for each Everpeaks client and support them through this partnership.

A leading financial services company that provides online money transfer, digital payment services and provides customers with working capital, New York based Payoneer has a 1,000 staff across 16 offices globally.

“We thank Joachim for having been our Brand Ambassador in Malaysia and we are looking forward to providing more value to our customers in the country through this partnership with Everpeaks,” said Miguel Warren, Regional VP for Southeast Asia and GM of Payoneer Hong Kong.

The partnership will see Everpeaks as a Payoneer brand and community reference with intent to engage more with the community, by creating a social following as content partner in the region. The content provided by Everpeaks will be focused on mainly two spaces – the ecommerce space and the freelancer space.

Starting this month 2020, Everpeaks will generate localised quality content suitable for both Malaysians, and ecommerce sellers.

Joachim expects Everpeaks to double its current client count from 8 to 16 this year. “With the community engagement, content generation and event representation that we have planned for this year we know that there are brand owners and manufacturers that require our strategic and operational support for their eCommerce platforms.”

Aware that the skillsset needed to be on top of the ever evolving rules and criteria of mastering the various digital platforms is generally beyond the reach of most brands and manufacturers, Everpeaks has evolved into a consultancy that brands and manufacturers can reliably outsource this competency to.

Its ability to provide performance based outsourced export eCommerce services solves four key pain points for clients:

  1. Saving them on manpower costs in hiring their own internal teams
  2. Solving the difficulty in finding talent within the export eCommerce space
  3. Finding talent that is operationally experienced on the export platforms
  4. Lack of strategic knowledge to forecast growth or plan an export ecommerce strategy

Besides the Payoneer partnership, Everpeaks works with Amazon as part of their service partner network and eBay as their official eChannel partner for Malaysia.
